Care Reach Project

Project Year: 2025
Project Partner: Centre for Women Studies and Intervention (CWSI)
Thematic Area: Community Health Support & Social Welfare

Overview

In 2025, the Education and Empowerment for the Needy Foundation (EEN Foundation), in partnership with the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention (CWSI), implemented the Care Reach Project, a humanitarian outreach designed to support vulnerable families and individuals with essential care items and basic living supplies.
The initiative targeted underserved communities where many households struggle with access to everyday necessities critical for healthy living, dignity, and stability.

Project Objective

The Care Reach Project aimed to:

  • Provide essential care items and hygiene supplies to families in need
  • Improve household wellbeing and promote healthier living conditions
  • Strengthen community support structures through collaborative outreach
  • Promote compassion, dignity, and shared responsibility within the community
  • Extend emotional and social support to individuals facing hardship

Project Activities

1. Collaborative Outreach With CWSI

Working hand-in-hand with the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention, the EEN Foundation team conducted coordinated visits to communities identified as high-need areas.
Both organisations combined their expertise in community development and social support to ensure the intervention reached the most vulnerable groups.

2. Distribution of Essential Care Packages

The project distributed carefully curated care packages to beneficiaries. These packages contained:

  • Hygiene materials (soap, sanitary items, disinfectants)
  • Basic household supplies
  • Food essentials
  • Personal care items

Each package was designed to support day-to-day health, cleanliness, and dignity—especially for women, children, and low-income households.

3. Community Engagement & Welfare Support

The Care Reach Project also included direct engagement with beneficiaries, where the team:

  • Spoke with families to understand their current needs
  • Offered emotional encouragement and support
  • Shared information about maintaining hygiene and wellness
  • Built trust and strengthened community relationships

This engagement created a warm, supportive environment where beneficiaries felt seen, valued, and not alone.

4. Partnership Strengthening

The project further solidified the working collaboration between EEN Foundation and CWSI, demonstrating the power of joint action in solving critical community challenges.
Both organisations committed to expanding this partnership to reach even more households in the future.

Impact

The Care Reach Project made a meaningful difference in the lives of numerous families, especially women and children.
Key outcomes included:

  • Improved access to essential hygiene and care items
  • Enhanced household wellbeing and cleanliness
  • Strengthened emotional support for families in distress
  • Increased community awareness of available support channels
  • A deeper sense of belonging and shared compassion within the community

Conclusion

The Care Reach Project stands as a testament to EEN Foundation’s dedication to improving community welfare and ensuring that vulnerable groups receive the care and dignity they deserve.
Through strategic partnership with the Centre for Women Studies and Intervention, the initiative demonstrated how impactful collective action can be in addressing everyday challenges faced by underserved families.

EEN Foundation remains committed to scaling the Care Reach Project across more communities, reaching more households, and expanding its mission of care, compassion, and empowerment.
